YG Marley Confirmed for Reggae Sumfest 2024

NEWSFLASH: YG Marley added to Friday lineup @ Reggae Sumfest 2024!

The lineup for Main Festival Night 1 (Friday July 19th) includes YG Marley, Capleton, Dexta Daps, Teejay, Aidonia, Valiant, Jada Kingdom, 450, Kraff, Malie Donn, Turbulence, Pablo YG, Munga Honorable, Marcy Chin, Kaka Highflames, Jquan. 

Main Festival Night 2 (Saturday July 20) include the likes of Babyface, Beres Hammond, Anthony B, Luciano, D'yani, Norris Man, Ras I, Sevana, Nigy Boy, 80's / 90's Gold Skool (featuring Wickeman/Daddy Lizard/Peter Metro/Anthony Malvo), Christopher Ellis and more. 

This annual week-long festival begins with the Sumfest Family Fun Day on Sunday July 14, followed by Sumfest Street Dance on Monday the 15th, Sumfest All White Party on the 16th, Sumfest Global Sound Clash on the 17th and the Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum Festival & Blitz Party on the 18th.  Festival nights are on Friday July 19th & Saturday July 20th and dubbed the two main festival nights. The week in its entirety encompasses a true Jamaican Experience of food, dance, music, fashion, culture… lifestyle.

Sumfest Family Funday on Sunday July 14 at Catherine Hall Stadium grounds is a true family-oriented event featuring a variety of activities throughout the day, including complimentary medical, dental and optical check-ups. Everyone will have the opportunity to explore the new sustainability corner, children will enjoy free unlimited rides while parents can enjoy the adult zone or spend time receiving advice from any of the financial, medical or life organizations on site. Exciting prizes and surprises will be available for all ages throughout the event.

Sumfest Street Dance on Monday July 15 promises to showcase some of the most talented DJs the culture has to offer while also celebrating a true Jamaican dancehall experience. Patrons will be immersed in an authentic Jamaican adventure through music, food, fashion, dance and lifestyle.

Sumfest All White Party on Tuesday July 16 is an annual affair held at the renowned Pier 1 venue. Patrons can anticipate an immersive musical experience featuring a curated selection of 80s, 90s and early 2000s hits. In addition to the captivating ambiance and musical selections, guests will have the opportunity to indulge in a diverse array of beverages and culinary delights specially crafted by the esteemed Pier 1 team.

Sumfest Global Sound Clash on Wednesday July 17 is a tradition of the festival and the culture. Our Global Sound Clash welcomes patrons who are enthusiastically supporting their preferred Sound Systems in a momentous competition of Champions. Our current title holder, Dynamq Sound, will return to defend their title against renowned competitors from around the world. Notably, for the first time ever, a female clash DJ popularly known as Notorious Sound from Japan will participate in the event. 

Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum Festival & Sumfest Blitz Party on Thursday July 18th will be one for the books as this upscale day and night affair has big things in store for this year’s staging. Rum culture all day with entertainment and later a high energy music mash up of EDM / AfroBeats / Dancehall and Reggae.
